In the wonderful Portoferraio bay, that Admiral Nelson stated as the most safe in the world, it is set our location of the Isle of Elba. From there you may start several different voyages, with numerous bays, small harbours, shelters and calm sea. |

All around Elba there are also many other isles that you will pick and choose to make a stop in the quite sober (in the low season!) Capraia, or pop over Corsica (only 40 knots), or towards the isles of Giglio and Giannutri.
Getting to Elba is fast and easy, both to stay for a week-end or more than a week… you will not be disappointed. |

This route let us to visit the Northwest part of Corsica, the most fashionable area, and down towards Saint-Florent, Ille Rousse, Calvi. If the weather is fine, keep on sailing towards the sea-park in Scandola and stop in the amazing Girolata Bay. |
